July Trip Game Plan Advice

Ok guys, I'm going back for Fourth of July at Walt Disney World this year! So with that said I'm figuring out gameplans for July 3 and 4th, the former a three-parks in one day trip and the later being likely either a full MK day or a MK/Epcot hopping day, here's what I have in mind.
July 3 - Park Pass for Epcot (Three Parks in One Day)
Bus from WL to EP 7:30-8:00amish
Epcot - 8:30am EE
  • Soarin'
  • Living With The Land
  • Mission Space (G+ LL Possible)
  • Test Track (SR)
  • Gran Fiesta Tour
  • Remy's Ratatouille Adventure (ILL)
  • Lunch - Via Napoli (1:30pm ADR)
Park Hop After Lunch - Bus from Epcot to AK
  • FOP (ILL)
  • DINOSAUR (G+ LL)
  • Kali River Rapids (G+ LL possible)
  • Expedition Everest (SR)
  • Quick Snack somewhere (TBD)
Park Hop around 6:30pm-6:45ish - Bus from AK to HWS
  • Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway (G+ LL)
  • Slinky Dog Dash (G+ LL possible, only if available/time permitting)
  • Dinner - Sci Fi Drive In (8:15pm ADR)
  • Fantasmic (if a second show is being run) or Wonderful World of Animation
Bus back to Wilderness Lodge

July 4 - Park Pass for Magic Kingdom (Option 1 - Full MK Day)
Boat from WL to MK - 7:00am or so?
Assuming an 8:30am EE
  • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train - EE
  • Peter Pan's Flight - EE
  • Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh - EE
  • Splash Mountain (G+ LL likely)
  • Big Thunder Mountain (G+ LL possible)
  • Jungle Cruise (G+ LL - if possible)
  • Lunch - Plaza Restaurant (11:40am ADR)
  • Haunted Mansion (G+ LL - if possible)
  • Space Mountain (G+ LL)
  • Tomorrowland Transit Authority
  • Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin (G+ LL or if time permits)
  • Mickey's Philharmagic
  • COP
  • Journey of The Little Mermaid (G+ LL or if time permits)
  • Adventure Friends Calvercade
  • Dinner - Diamond Horseshoe (7:40pm ADR)
  • 9pm - Celebrate America Fireworks (from Main Street if at all possible!)
Or.....
July 4 - Park Pass for Magic Kingdom (Option 2 - MK till 2pm, then hop to Epcot, and return to MK)
Boat from WL to MK - 7:00am or so
Magic Kingdom (Assuming an 8:30am EE)
  • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train - EE
  • Peter Pan's Flight - EE
  • Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh - EE
  • Splash Mountain (G+ LL likely)
  • Big Thunder Mountain (G+ LL possible)
  • Jungle Cruise (G+ LL - if possible)
  • Lunch - Plaza Restaurant (11:40am ADR)
  • Haunted Mansion (G+ LL)
Park Hop at around 2pm - Monorail or Ferry to TTC, then Epcot Monorail
  • Guardians of The Galaxy Cosmic Rewind (ILL)
  • Frozen Ever After (G+ LL)
  • Test Track (SR)
  • Gran Fiesta Tour
  • Spaceship Earth (G+ LL)
  • Dinner - TBD
Park Hop at around 6:00pm or so - Monorail to TTC, then Ferry or Monorail to MK
  • Space Mountain (G+ LL)
  • COP
  • Tomorrowland Transit Authority
  • 9pm - Celebrate America Fireworks (from Main Street if at all possible!)
Ideas? Thoughts? Comments?

For Day 1 it will be tough to get all the LL you are hoping for: You'd have to get Slinky first thing and then hope to get MMRR 2 hours after park open (I think, but don't know, it would be 2 hours after DHS and not Epcot opens), and it might not be available then on a busy day.

Day 2, either version, would also be tough to get those G+ on a busy day--it would be especially tough to grab Splash, BTMRR, and JC back-to-back with return times that early in the day. At 8 am this morning (not too crowded), the return time for JC was 6 pm, Splash was 10:45, and BTMRR was noon. You'd want to get JC first thing, and if you get a return time early enough, you might still get a Splash or BTMRR time before lunch.

I'd rather stay in MK the whole day to reduce transportation time, give myself more flexibility for G+.

I think I'd try Cosmic Rewind on Day 1, which means dropping or doing standby for Rat or FOP. You may have time to standby Rat that day; you could be over on the Mission Space side of the park 9:15ish--2 hours to do Cosmic Rewind, TT SR, and MS, then 2 hours to standby Rat? And if that doesn't work, you could come back on Day 2.

So I may just keep my plans for day 2 at Option 1 for now. And I have tweaked it since then.

Flip flopping CoP & Philharmagic would save a lot of walking.
Also - (forum) friends don’t let friends Diamond Horseshoe. Just no. Trust me on this. (Or trust Josh. Look up his review) Even Tony’s or any quick service would be a better bet.
