"Reopening dates for four hotels have been pushed back. Included are Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Beach Club and BoardWalk had originally planned to reopen on August 24 and October 1 respectively. Both are now delayed indefinitely.

Polynesian's reopening has been delayed from August 12 to October 4, and Art of Animation from August 12 to November 1.

These delayed reopenings could impact resort amenities, like Ohana restaurant at the Polynesian and Stormalong Bay swimming complex at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. Many resort amenities are closed or running at reduced capacity while the hundreds of hotel rooms are not filled.

Officially, Stormalong Bay remains listed among resort amenities which will "not be available during the initial reopening period." No specific updates have been provided.

Other DVC-adjacent hotels are currently keeping their announced reopening dates. These include Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort (July 29), Disney's Yacht Club Resort (August 24) and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (September 21). No reopening dates have been published for Disney's Wilderness Lodge or Jambo House at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge."

Going through my records I realized over the weekend that I have 31 December 2020 UY points that I banked from 2019 and won't use. I was planning on making a spec reservation for a value studio the anticipated weekend of Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend 2021 (first weekend of November) and renting it out, but now I wonder if I'll even be able to make the reservation.
