Pop Century standard pool view

that's a shame
Any recommendation for room location, factoring in that we'll have a car? I'm thinking 50's, building 1 over 80's building 9 (looking at the TP room maps) since it's a bit closer to Classic Hall.

If you'll be going to the food court more than you'll be using Disney transportation, then I'd agree. We're in the same room type but with no car and little interest in the food court, we'll be requesting building 9 (upper floor, preferably). We'd actually prefer NOT to have a pool view (because of the noise) but that was the only discounted room available.

Same here. I like the rooms that face the lake in the 50's.

We have had a 50's lake-view room twice at Pop, and it was a great location for us. I would choose 50s over 80s if you can. We had a room in 80s on our first stay at Pop and it seemed like such a long walk. (It probably wasn't, and I think it was enhanced by the fact that our flight was delayed, we checked in after midnight and had trouble finding room.)

We stayed in 1164 eight years ago, in 50s Bldg 1. It's a standard room, but 1165 is standard pool view. We loved the location. Regardless of how far away it looks, it "felt" close to the main building. It's obviously close to car parking.

Sorry. To the food court and buses. If we had a car, we would have been fine.
Huh. Just going by the map, pool view rooms in buildings 2 and 3 in the 50s look a lot farther from the buses than pool view rooms in buildings 7 and 9 in the 80s.
